Verona is a town/city in Dane County, Wisconsin, in the United States and is a suburb of Madison.

The town/city is positioned ten miles southwest of downtown Madison inside the Town of Verona.

The town was titled for Verona, New York. It was incorporated as a village in 1921 and as a town/city in 1978. According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the town/city has a total region of 6.36 square miles (16.47 km2), of which, 6.30 square miles (16.32 km2) is territory and 0.06 square miles (0.16 km2) is water. Notable geographical features include the Verona Sugar River Valley, the Badger Mill Creek, and the Sugar River State Trail.

A portion of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail also runs through Verona.

As of the census of 2010, there were 10,619 citizens , 4,223 homeholds, and 2,845 families living in the city.

There were 4,461 housing units at an average density of 708.1 per square mile (273.4/km2).

The ethnic makeup of the town/city was 93.3% White, 1.3% African American, 0.3% Native American, 2.5% Asian, 0.7% from other competitions, and 1.9% from two or more competitions.

There were 4,223 homeholds of which 39.4% had kids under the age of 18 residing with them, 54.4% were married couples residing together, 9.6% had a female homeholder with no husband present, 3.3% had a male homeholder with no wife present, and 32.6% were non-families.
